Victims have rights too
West Midlands Libertarian MEP, Bill Etheridge blasted YouTube as it censored one of his videos, talking about victim’s rights. He called it the start of a “slippery slope”.
Sammy Woodhouse was just 14 when she was raped in a grooming gang scandal, exposing the biggest child exploitation ring in the history of the UK.
Arshid Hussain, originally from from Pakistan, is currently serving a 35-year jail term for his crimes.
Sammy has waived her right to anonymity to speak out about the scandal as social workers have offered him help to be involved in raising their son.
Bill Etheridge MEP, the Libertarian Party UK Deputy Chairman stormed “This video was in support of a young lady who wants a change in the law.
“I can only imagine the hurt that would be caused to this young victim, and others like her, if this rapist was involved in her son’s life.
“Also, the censoring of this video by an elected political representative in support of her case is the start of a very slippery slope.”
“Are we headed towards a system where the people have a free vote, but there is only one candidate on the ballot paper?”
