Steps to peace.

The west is now at a critical stage in the Ukrainian War, Russia needs an easy exit for its army to withdraw East. What it does not need is some crazy old man in the Oval Office calling for ‘regime change’ in the Kremlin. Horrified US diplomats are having a fit denying their commander in chief’s words.

‘U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken told a news conference in Jerusalem that Biden was making the point that Putin couldn't be empowered to wage war. But Blinken said any decision on Russia's future leadership would be "up to the Russian people." Republicans flatly said Biden's remarks amounted to an unfortunate blunder.

Senator James Risch, the top Republican on the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee, called Biden's remarks a "horrendous gaffe" and said he wished the president would have stayed on script. ‘

Sleepy Joe is as dangerous an actor as mad Vlad.

Allowing the Russian Army to withdraw along agreed routes to their start lines is now essential. Zelenskyy has publicly offered concessions on the Donbass Region and the Crimea together with neutrality. The very fact that publicly and belatedly the Kremlin are saying these were their war aims all along gives hope that a ceasefire can be achieved and the rebuilding can begin.

Apart from the two deranged occupants of the White House and the Kremlin, the other person who needs to be gagged is ‘Ukraine belongs to us’ Von Der Leyen , the worst Defence Minister Germany ever had.

The Russian Army will be returning demoralised and with thousand of conscripts who will talk to family and friends about the horrific losses incurred in Ukraine and the criminal incompetence of their armed forces. Those Russian losses are now assessed as 16,000 dead, it is difficult to hide that figure from the Russian people and the downturn.

For the sake of the displaced people of the the Ukraine these leaders need to use their ears and mouth in the correct proportion. The media also need to tone it down, and in some famous words ‘Give Peace A Chance'.
